Covid 19 at South Iceland Wool Week

During the Wool Week all infection prevention will be well taken care of. Þingborg community centre is well equipped with hand sanitizers in several places, and we will have extra hand sanitizers in every room and people have access to water and soap.

Workshops in other locations than Þingborg centre (Gamla Þingborg, Hárlaugsstaðir, Lækjarbotnar, Skinnhúfa and Hespuhúsið), it will be ensured that water, soap and hand sanitizers are accessible.

In all classrooms, all contact surfaces will be disinfected between workshops and care will be taken to ensure a good distance between students.

Thanks to the actions of the Icelandic government against covid19, we can hold the Wool Week, but we are aware that circumstances can change quickly and there is a possibility that the festival will have to be postponed if social distancing laws are tightened.
